For the first time in 3 years, Chris and I got to be home for Christmas! Not home for a 48 hour period before the holiday, like we’ve done in the past. We were home for both December 24th and 25th. It was a very busy 5 days home, but we had a great time with plenty of friends and family.
We started out with Broadway Pizza on Friday night and invited Julie along, even though she doesn’t like pizza. Who couldn’t like Broadway? It’s so good!!
Chris and I went over and met Sipsi, Jen and Christian’s new kitty. She got some really nice Christmas presents. A heating pad and a kitty house. She liked them a lot and was even sharing them with Tipsi, her calico friend.
We started a new tradition and went to my Uncle Steve’s house for Christmas Eve Brunch. Holly made cranberry orange scones and Sharon and I made orange julius.
Grandma, me and Chris. It was so nice to have Grandma “home for the holidays” too. She was in a physical rehab place just 2 days before this photo. Lookin’ good, Grandma!
We had some extended family over for dinner on Christmas Eve. Time for dessert!
Loraine, me and Grandma. Notice Loraine and my earrings?
Here’s a closer shot of our stylin’ earrings. We got them from Aunt Esther after she passed and made a pact to wear them on Christmas Eve. Are we on again next year Loraine?
Sharon and John did dishes while I was posing with my earrings. Those two are so darn helpful!
Paul was serving wine. Also very helpful.
We went over to Kit’s house for some Neville time. The 3 Neville men have beards. I especially like the one on the right. He’s a looker!
The Neville Family minus Julie. Ben’s beard turned red and has ornaments hanging from it.
Today (December 31st), Chris and I took down Christmas Tree #4. Chris was very sad about it. Normally I have do to it myself because he’s so sad he doesn’t like to do it. This year, he felt like between tears, he’d be able to help. Thanks Chris!
Park City Christmas tree graveyard. Ours is the tallest one outside the dumpster. Only the best for Christmas tree #4. Notice there’s no snow? It’s a pretty sad state here. We need a snowstorm pretty bad.
