Paul always makes fun of the fact that we name our Christmas tree the same thing every year. I’m very into naming things with a name relative to what color or object they are, so what better name for our Christmas Tree this year than Christmas Tree Number 5.
Meet Christmas Tree Number 5 and hear his story.
We took Snowflake because she’s be better for getting Christmas Tree Number 5, mainly because she has more clearance over the ground and we’d have to drive some snowy roads into the woods. I tricked Chris into stopping in Heber for an oil change on the way.
We drove up a snowy road to find Christmas Tree Number 5. Thank goodness for Snowflake and all wheel drive!
We found him! Christmas Tree Number 5! He’s the one right behind Chris’s head. Not the big one in the back.
We took turns cutting him down.
Chris carrying him back to Snowflake.
And tying him on for the trip home!
Decorating! I’m pretty particular about the lights, so usually do that part and we do the ornaments together.
The finished product!
Ta da! Merry Christmas!
