Closing Day in Park City is quite the local event. Everyone in town comes out to celebrate the end of a great season and a start to spring and summer. This year, we didn’t have the snow we wanted to, but still a reason for a celebration. The party is for sure at Park City Mountain Resort. As much as I love Canyons, they just don’t do closing day, it’s not that exciting over there.
Crazy to think this was my 6th winter in Park City! Closing day was on April 15.. I’ve been busy, this post is a little late!
Brownie and I met up for some tailgate action with her roommate Jorie.
Lets get this party started!
We met up with Katie to take a few turns. It’s not common to ski/snowboard on closing day. Most people are focused on the party and drinking. But it’s not really closing day unless you’re going for your last few turns of the season in Park City.
On a winter like this, there wasn’t a lot of snow left in April.. notice the dirt behind me??
Group photo! Katie, Brownie and I.
After snowboarding, we went to Corner Store (a local bar near the base of Park City Mountain Resort) to have a couple beers and saw some nice doggies!
A possible future SnowTime. Awwh.. nice doggie!
