Chris got his wisdom teeth taken out on Monday morning. It was quite the process. I learned that Nevilles aren’t go great with the anesthesia, and I should have taken more time off to care for ‘lil Chris. It took him a long time to wear it off, which meant a lot of “babysitting” from me. I saw some new sides of him in the recovery room (ha!) and when we got home and he couldn’t sit still! Big thanks to Julie for her care over the phone help.
Check out the x-ray of his teeth! Again, notice the happy smiling face! Shortly after this photo, Chris went into surgery. I waited in the waiting room, and in about 20 minutes, he was done! That’s like 5 minutes per tooth! Speedy!
They had me come in and help him come out of anesthesia. I had to keep him awake for about 30 minutes- which was pretty hard to do! He kept asking, “Did it go okay? Perfect? No Problems?” I told him “Yes, Perfect, No Problems.” After having that conversation 4 or 5 times he says “Gay” out of the blue, and I asked him “What do you Mean?” I guess he had big plans for the nurse and I. Ha! Our chats in that recovery room were pretty entertaining.
Here’s Chris in the car looking at his teeth that he got to keep. For someone who is normally very happy, he was not too happy post-anesthesia. He wasn’t in pain- just wanted to do his own thing on his own terms, which made it hard to take care of him when he was at home recovering!
