I’ve been a little behind on blogging, so this is a little out of date, but worth posting about. Last Wednesday, I went to the free outdoor concerts at Deer Valley with some friends. During the summer, Deer Valley (ski resort in Park City) hosts free outdoor concerts where you bring some snacks, wine/beer and sit on the ski hill and watch/listen to the music. It’s a lot of fun and is a good way to enjoy summer in a mountain town.
Deer Valley is the most expensive ski resort in the area and is very fancy. In the winter, they only allow skiing there (no snowboarding) and have a dress code for people on the mountain (no skiing in jeans). Everything there is catered to the guest.. it’s very nice. The people there tend to be a little more “fancy” than the normal Canyons or Park City Mountain Resort people. This is not as true in the summer time when the locals go to the concerts, but still rings true a little when you see the type of snacks and picnic gear people bring.
