I had a great weekend. I got to see both of my best friends. I helped Erica move on Friday and spent the weekend with Hayden. It’s extra special when I get to see Hayden because I only get to see her 2-3 times per year. I used to see her every day when we lived together in college, but now we try to take turns visiting each other to keep in touch. We met up in Ferryville, Wisconsin, a.k.a the Sportsman’s Paradise at her fiancé Guy’s parents live and stayed with them for the weekend. It was a lot of fun, even though we really didn’t do anything but run errands and hang out. I saw the Mississippi from a totally different view than I’m used to in Minneapolis and saw some awesome bluffs that reminded me of my mountains that I miss in Park City.
Me usin’ my camera, all artsy. I stole this idea from Sarah, who got me into blogging and taking some cool photos. Thanks Sarah! You can check out her blog at www.saussie.com.
After much discussion and putting on and off a trailer 3 times, Hayden, Guy and I headed to La Crosse for an afternoon of errands which included ice cream and seeing Hayden’s parents, Ellen and Chris- they’re sorta like a 2nd family to me. This is a photo of the sunset on our way back to lovely Ferryville.
Ok, ok.. those of you that know me, know that I don’t fish. Fish gross me out the way that spiders or snakes gross some other people out. I only really fish if someone baits my hook and takes off my fish, and never ever ever am I serious about it. This is what I usually look like when I “fish”. The previous photo was fake.
