I joined the newly formed Park City Runners Club this spring to find some running buddies to help get ready for the Twin Cities Marathon. Since the club was brand new, they needed some help getting things going- I volunteered to design a logo- basically to learn how to use Adobe Illustrator and to get some experience doing something I hadn’t done before. Here’s the result!
Not too bad for my first logo!! Please say it looks like shoelaces! I ended up tracing a real shoe to do them. The colors symbolize road and trail running because the club does both. The green(plants)/brown (dirt) symbolizes a trail and the yellow (dotted line)/blue (a car?) the road. It’ll be on t-shirts, brochures, and the club website soon- I’m pretty happy with it!! 🙂
