Chris and I aren’t the best at planning dinners, grocery shopping or cooking. We’re still learning how to do meals that we both enjoy. Some of my friends from work belong to a food co-op, and we decided to try it to help us get started with some base items for meals. We joined the People’s Community Food Co-op of Utah- where you sign up ahead of time for either a full share or a half share and then go pick up your food. The food is bought in bulk at wholesale prices to save you money. Some of it is local and organic, but that’s not the main intention of the co-op.
