Chris went to Minnesota for the weekend, providing me with a great chance to party it up with my girls.. just like ‘ol times when I lived here without him. I had a jam packed weekend and a ton of fun.
On Friday, Irene, Jeanna and I decided to go to “the club” and go dancing- we had Cosmos and Appletinis at Jeanna’s house and then headed to a club called Area 51, which was apparently a 18+ club, we felt old- so went to Green Street. A college-type club. We danced the night away, ending with a sleepover for me on Jeanna’s guest bed. 🙂 Driving back to Park City was out of the question. No photos available!
Saturday was a big day. I broke my previous record at Snowbird on May 4th by going on May 9th. I celebrated by skiing instead of snowboarding. I don’t ski often and need to improve. I had a ton of fun attempting to push around the wet, slushy snow. Going to Snowbird in the spring is one of my favorite things to do here, it’s so casual- no one is in a hurry to hit up all the fresh powder. Everyone’s just happy that they are in the sun and on the snow in May. Utah is Amazing!
Sunday I worked in the morning and then biked up City Creek canyon. I didn’t take Midnight- this was more of a road bike ride. So, I rode Chris’s road bike (yet to be named). It was a tough bike ride. Irene, Jeanna and I climbed over 1,400 ft. in the span of 3-4ish miles.
I had a great weekend! Definitely got my share of exercise! I apologize for the lack of photos- I was lazy and didn’t want to bring my big camera everywhere I went and Chris took his little one to MN. Check his blog, lets hope he put that camera to good use!
