After almost joining Brownie in Yellowstone or joining Jeanna rafting, Chris and I decided to stay in Park City and do some classic July 4th activities – we had a nice weekend – a good mix of relaxing and out doin’ stuff.
Had to get the weekend started off right by hanging our flag out on deck. We got the flag from Santa at Christmas. I think he’d be proud!
Friday night, we went to the concert at Canyons. Normally there are fireworks at Canyons, but this year, they moved them to Park City since we’re combining and becoming one resort next season.
On Saturday, we went to the parade and I always like to take photos of floats that are very “Park City”. Here’s the Park City Triathlon club- there’s someone swimming on the float! (look to the left) Turns out it was my friend Holly – she was in Leadership Park City with me last year.
Wasatch Beers had a 6 pack of beer! Cool!
Park City PowderCats just plain brought their snow cat. I think Chris and I are going to want to use some wedding money we’ve been saving for this next year.
Cool fish, huh?
Park City Mountain Resort and Canyons float this year. Last year I volunteered to help with the float and got Chris to come along and help. This year, we decided to take it easy and just be spectators.
