Last Sunday was Easter and I went snowboarding and made a ham. My first ham I ever made and I cooked it in a crock-pot. I didn’t do this for some great secret recipe, I mainly did it because when the ham needed to start cooking, I wanted to be snowboarding and not cooking ham.
My plan turned out great!
Here’s the ham before I cooked it. I put about 1/2 can of gingerale and water in the bottom of the crock-pot and stuck some cloves into the ham for a little more flavor.
I covered the top in foil and set the timer so it’d cook on low for about 4 hours.
And then I went snowboarding at Snowbasin with Brownie.
Don’t be confused. This is not an ad for Burton. It’s just Kim Brown.
The snow was in pretty good shape!
We went and had some chocolate milk after snowboarding and got it specially mixed for us by a bartender because they closed the cafeteria for an Easter Lunch.
It was closing day at Snowbasin and these ladies were partying it up in swimsuits. No thank you.
Cool Bunny someone made from snow!
The finished crock-pot ham
Brownie gave me this cute card with a bunny on it with braces on (you can click on the photo to see it up close). In the inside of the card, it said Happy Easthwer. Funny!
We went over to our friend Nate’s house for dinner and George carved the ham.
Pineapple, rolls, pasta salad and ham. That’s a nice Easter dinner!
