In-N-Out Burger is a fast food burger place out west. They don’t have them in the midwest, so when I moved out here everyone was telling me I had to try one. It would change my life. The closest In-N-Out Burger is in St. George, UT and would be on the way on Chris and my road trip to Vegas. On Friday, we decided to give it a try.
We ordered burgers and fries. The burgers were fresh (not frozen) meat and came with fresh tomatoes, lettuce, onions etc. on them and the fries were made from fresh cut potatoes. Usually, I’m all for fresh food. But.. my burger was undercooked (pinkish) and those of you who know me know that I like all my meat well done, all the time. Even if the burger was done better, I still don’t think it’d be life changing. The fries were awesome, but not as good as my favorite fries (beer battered) from Fitgers Brewery in Duluth.
Chris and I thought maybe we just ordered the wrong thing- our friend Nate said to order fries done “animal” style. So after not really eating our burgers, we ordered some animal fries which come with cheese, fry sauce and tons of onions. Nope, didn’t like those either.
