Minnesota Hats Off to The!!

I’m back!! Back in Utah. Back to my blog-time before bed. I had a GREAT time in Minnesota and got some much needed rest. I work a lot out here and usually just go on adrenaline, convincing myself I can take on more and more. I could finally breathe as soon as I touched ground in MN. I missed my family and friends a lot more than I previously thought- (I most likely didn’t have time to think about missing them! as sad as that is.) I love all my friends and family in MN and without them I wouldn’t be able to survive in Utah. They’ve convinced me I can make it here and are always there. Thank you!!

I combined a Christmas present with some money I’ve been saving for awhile and finally did it. I bought a new camera. It’s a lot fancier than my old one and I honestly don’t know how to use it well, but am enjoying experimenting so far. Here’s some photos (post camera purchase) of my time in Minnesota.

I went with my family to Grandma’s for Eric and Tina’s Christmas Party

This is Sharon- she is annoyed that I’m taking so many photos.

Dad and Mom- not as annoyed as Sharon.

I got to see this ‘lil guy 4 times over the week.
Erine is my Grandma’s “special” Christmas decoration- direct from Wisconsin
Nothing good can ever come from that place in my opinion.

I gave Foursy and Ginger lots of treats because they are too skinny
from their thyroid problem.
I squared off the fur on Foursy’s tail to make him look nice for his trip to the vet.

I saw the Minneapolis skyline on a COLD gloomy day.

I saw Nicollet Mall on the way to my see my mom’s new office.

I walked in the alley that my mom has to walk in everyday on her way into work. It’s scary there, as demonstrated by Sharon.

This is my mom’s new desk… a.k.a the place where I waste time when hand modeling.


I went on a secret tour led by my mom’s co-worker of the underground workings of the Wyman Building in Minneapolis. This is a old boiler. Pretty cool!

I saw a not so cool part of the Wyman building…. apparently it’s falling apart.

I celebrated being Norwegian and made lefse at my grandmas with Sharon and my mom.

Mrs. Olson’s lefse you find at Cub.

Things worked out and I was able to extend my Minnesota stay by a day and 1/2 which meant I got to spend New Year’s Eve in Minnesota with Chris!! 🙂 and some of our friends. Photos will be up soon. I’m off to bed.
