We were a little on the fence about another trip to Minnesota (this would have been our 4th trip since June!) but we decided to make it happen. My good friend from high school, Shannon was getting married and we decided that it was important to go and make an appearance. Plus, we can always find enough to do at home, right?
We flew in Friday morning and worked from home at my parents’ house – pretty cool to both have jobs that allow us to get paid for a day when we’re working remotely from Minnesota!
I took a break for lunch and went to see Grandma’s new place at Sunrise of Edina. Here’s her room – still in “move-in” stage as there’s rental furniture in there and we’re eventually going to get her own moved over from Gramercy.
Got to see Clo! She went outside in the rain and had to be dried off with towel.
On Saturday, we went to the Gophers game – got to see the Marching band!
Sharon was due about 10 days from our visit, but went to the game anyway. We took this photo to be funny – like we had to go see the EMT’s for her baby coming early! Ha!
I painted my toes for the game – maroon and gold.
Block M on the field looking as good as usual.
Sharon taking a sip of beer – don’t tell John!
Sunday was Chris’s birthday. We had a really nice brunch birthday party at Kit’s house.
Sunday afternoon we went back to Sunrise to spend some more time with Grandma. Still no baby yet, but a very large belly in a very small chair. 🙂
