We left Pokhara early to start trekking and got on the trail around 10:30am, we hiked for only about an hour and then stopped for lunch.
After lunch we had about 2 hours straight uphill. It was a little intense starting out, but we all settled into the climb and pace. We got passed by a lot of sheep goats, as they’re all coming down from the mountains of Tibet and Nepal for the festival this week in Nepal.
After hiking for about 4 hours we stopped at a tea house. It was really nice- about 10 separate units with twin beds and hot showers, running water, electricity and good food. Our guide came by in the afternoon and took our orders for dinner at 6. Chris and I both ordered veggie noodles, and were pleasantly surprised with fresh tomatoes, onions, peppers, garlic and greens on our spaghetti-like noodles. Yum!
