We took our boat out for the last time this summer and took it down the Mississippi in Minneapolis. Ann and Andrew had been wanting to ride the river through the city, so I begged them to get out of work early and come along. Who wouldn’t want to say that they rode under and over the new 35W bridge within 48 hours of it’s grand opening? Pretty cool.
This bridge has some high-tech computer sensors built into it, to evaluate stress and report the wear and tear on the bridge. Though this is obviously not what they’re for, we decided that in those 3 little black boxes are the computer geeks reading the data on the bridge. It would be a great job for Chris and Andrew!
Since It was raining, I got cold so I put on a life jacket to stay warmer. They’re super thick, why not? Chris took this picture of me because he thought I looked funny, but actually I think I look good! Hello, new profile picture!
Leaves were already changing- I love that this photo totally could look like it was taken up north or somewhere in the wilderness.. but no! It was taken in downtown Minneapolis! Minnesota is beautiful.
