For all those who want to know, Chris is doing really well- he took a week off work after his surgery and went for walks up and down the hall, played video games, took naps, watched movies and ate delicious food that Julie made us! He’s back at work now since Thursday and has been feeling great. It will still be a long time before he can come play with Midnight and I though.
Yesterday was the first day of summer activities at the Canyons. I can use my winter season pass to ride the gondola up the mountain (just like you would in the winter) and then bike down. It’s very neat- you ride in one “car” and they put your bike in another “car” right behind you. My friend Anthony had the day off so he and I headed to the Canyons, just like we normally would in the winter, but this time with bikes and not boards or skis.
This is one of our favorite areas to play at in the winter- the chairlift to the top right (very small) is 9990, which stands for 9,990 ft. elevation. We ride the lift up and head through trees down to the big brown area in the middle of the photo.
Anthony and I started with a big ride uphill – it wore us out- so we stopped to rest and take some photos. Everything is SUPER green here now- it’s basically rained every day since I’ve been back from Minnesota.
