I was sick on Wednesday with the flu, and was basically in bed all day, in hopes of being able to celebrate Thanksgiving the way I’d planned on since I arrived here. My body once again stood up to the challenge of fighting like crazy (like I always tell it to) when I’m sick. Thanksgiving turned out perfect. I got to do almost everything I’d hoped for and was thankful for the friends and “family” I have here.
Here’s my day:
I signed up for a 5k race with Irene, and decided not to run it because I was worried I wasn’t fully recovered and running a race wouldn’t help the situation. I was bummed. A little 3.2 mile race?? How nice! and I can’t even do it!
I went to work- at my Starbucks we either have to work Thanksgiving break or Xmas break. I gladly signed up for Thanksgiving, because I get to go HOME for Christmas! Yay! We made the best out of the fact we were working on a holiday and customers were annoying by breathing dragon breath with matcha powder. Geeky.
