Chris and I went to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico for a whole week. After years of Erica and Greg inviting us, we decided to finally take them up on it and join them for a super relaxing vacation filled with plenty of beach time and sun. It was a perfect way to relax before a busy winter. There were 5 of us that went- Erica, Lisa (one of her friends), Greg, Chris and I.
On Wednesday we took the bus to town and went on a tequila tour. It was really interesting to learn about the agave plants (the cactus looking ones in the middle of the photo) and how they are harvested.
After dinner we had flaming coffee. It’s a coffee drink with hot kaluha and brandy that’s special to Mexico. They light the liquers on fire and then add coffee to the alcohol on fire. The guy making them is Leriano. Maybe Starbucks will making these?
We went into town to celebrate Erica’s dinner. She picked the resturant, we told them it was her birthday and they sang ¡Feliz cumpleaños! to her. Watch the video.
