Gotta be honest, I didn’t really want to leave Camper’s Paradise to go back to something work related after such an insane month of July, but once I got to Colorado, I realized I’m pretty lucky to work for a ski resort and go to another ski resort for a week full of meetings.
On Tuesday our assignment was to explore the summer activities at Vail Mountain – this included extreme tubing. Basically you ride a tube (with a hard plastic bottom) down some plastic “turf” type stuff. It was scarier than you’d think!
We were supposed to do a ropes course, but it was too windy so they closed it.
On Thursday, they had a BBQ party for us with a western theme – they even had real cowboy stuff!
I was not very good at roping the moving cattle.
But, I looked good, right?
Each resort team had to dress up with a theme. The Park City team dressed as Miners because of Park City’s mining history. Here’s me with Phil and Jess (she’s actually from communications in Park City, so has a different costume).
My mining costume – big thanks to Mom for helping me put it together!
Me, Sam, Sara and Jess.
The awesome team I work with. All of Park City marketing team dressed as miners.

A little bit more crazy photo of our team.
We won the top award at the event and had to drive it home and we all took turns “cuddling with it” so it didn’t get lonely.
